Join us every year as we raise awareness about diaper need and the life-changing impact of cloth diapering for families across the country.

What is Diaper Need?

Diaper need is a growing crisis in the United States. One in three families struggles to afford enough diapers for their babies. Without access to clean diapers, families cannot access childcare, may miss work, and babies are at higher risk for health complications including diaper rash, infections, and urinary tract infections.

Diaper need is not just a family issue — it's a public health issue, an economic issue, and an environmental issue. Our cloth diaper loan program addresses all three by providing families with reusable diapers that save them money, reduce waste, and keep their babies healthy.

Break the Stigma

One of the biggest barriers to ending diaper need is stigma. Families who struggle to afford diapers often feel ashamed and may not ask for help. We believe that every family deserves access to clean diapers for their babies, and that asking for help should never be a source of shame.

You can help break the stigma by:

  • Sharing resources about diaper need with your community
  • Talking openly about the cost of raising a family
  • Supporting organizations that provide diaper assistance
  • Encouraging lawmakers to include diapers in assistance programs
  • Treating every family with dignity, regardless of their circumstances
